Prior to joining BDO Malaysia, Cha Lun was an Associate Director in Ernst & Young Malaysia Transaction Advisory Services, Valuation and Business Modelling Department.
He has more than 14 years of experience in the valuation of shares, businesses and intangible assets for transaction and financial reporting purposes, including for acquisitions, disposals, and public and private reporting. The nature of the engagements that he has led includes valuation, purchase price allocation, impairment review and financial model review.
There is a wide range of clients that he has worked with including commercial banks, public listed companies, multinational companies and private businesses.
Currently, at BDO, Cha Lun is a Director in Corporate Finance Department and is mainly involved in corporate finance engagements such as corporate valuation, independent advice, purchase price allocation, fairness opinion, M&A activities and Initial Public Offering (IPO) related engagements.
