EXPERTISE SUMMARY
Woon Yoke Lee is an Executive Director of Tax of BDO in Malaysia. She has been in the tax practice for over 25 years, having worked with Deloitte as well as a medium-sized firm. She has extensive experience in the field of taxation and her current responsibilities include overseeing the management of tax compliance matters in respect of domestic and international taxes.
She has handled tax matters of corporations of various sizes (multinationals, listed companies both local and foreign inclusive) involved in construction, property development, hotels, insurance, recreational and golf courses, manufacturing, leasing, trading and others.
Apart from the above, over her career, she has also been actively involved in the local and international tax planning as well as advisory matters of both inbound and outbound expatriates.
She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Budget Commentary & Tax Information published by the MICPA, MIA and CTIM as well as a co-opted member of the MICPA's Tax Practice Committee.
