EXPERTISE SUMMARY
With over 23 years of experience in Audit & Assurance, Swee Lin is currently an Audit Partner with BDO. She manages a portfolio of listed as well as non-listed audit clients in various industries such as manufacturing, trading, information technology services, logistics and property development.
Prior to joining BDO, Swee Lin was with KPMG Malaysia. During her 17 years tenure in KPMG, she was involved mainly in audit and assurance work. Swee Lin spent her last couple of years in KPMG, as a Director of the Professional Practice Department, where she headed the audit quality review programme and was involved in internal training.
Swee Lin was one of the key facilitators for various Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standard (MPERS) workshops organised by MICPA and MIA.
Under MICPA’s initiative, Swee Lin was also involved as a member of the Editorial Task Force in developing the Audit Guide for Practitioners and the Illustrative Audit Working Papers for Small and Medium Practitioners, and subsequently was one of the pioneer facilitators for workshops related to this Guide.
